The EGOSCUE method, group clinics and full body group realignment classes

The Egoscue Method is a physical therapy which helps restore pain free functional movement. SUITABLE for ANYONE & BENEFITS EVERYONE!

As a certified EGOSCUE postural alignment specialist and yoga teacher, I saw an opportunity to lead some body maintenance sessions which counteract the negative demands of daily living whether this be work, age, sport, hobbies and rehabilitation after injury or illness.  These classes work for all bodies. 

The aim is to reduce pain, recurring injuries/weakness and improve flexibility, mobility and function.

My Friday POSTURE CLASS class focusses on correcting and restoring musculoskeletal balance so your body works well, pain free for longer.  The class gives you practical exercises and solutions you can use at home. If you can’t make the time you can request a recording which you can access for 7 days.  The Egoscue Method classes are not a workout – they aim to boost physical and sporting performance, minimise injury and set the foundations for all the physical and day to day activities we enjoy – from gardening to high performance athletics.

With a positive approach and reminders of what’s important delivered through a positive relaxation at the end of your class your mental health is restored and your whole body is balanced. Take a look.

STRETCH CLASS

My Wednesday STRETCH + POSTURE CLASS focuses on addressing postural imbalance and improving a balanced flexibility and range of movement through simple stretches and yoga.  The class gives you practical exercises and solutions you can use at home. If you can’t make the time you can request a recording which you can access for 7 days.

FUN DANCE FITNESS

This popular fun packed exercise class boosts confidence, burns calories and builds cardiovascular and motor fitness.  And most importantly it’s a little escape from day to life with an uplifting sound track and like minded people.

PILOXING 

Piloxing is a group exercise class that blends Pilates, boxing and dance. It’s a high-energy interval workout that involves heart-pumping, powerful boxing combinations and sculpting and lengthening Pilates-influenced movements. Take a look.

LEGS, BUMS and TUMS

A Pilates style lower body workout incorporating Pilates ball, Pilates hoops and resistance bands.

PILATES/YOGA FLOW

Strengthen body and mind without over working your body and risking injury.  Tone, improve flexibility and well-being in a workout that feels good for the body and soul.

HIIT STYLE STEP AEROBICS

A classic cardio step class with the added boost of HIIT rounds,  FUN, FEARLESS, FITNESS.  Steps provided – MUST BE BOOKED in advance.

SELF CARE SUNDAYS at the NATIONAL TRUST FOOTPRINT WINDERMERE 2pm til 5.30pm

BODY – Your afternoon will start with a lovely gentle, stress reducing yin yoga practice. Lots of stillness and very long gentle stretches – suitable for all bodies.  We will be inside and the wood burning stove will be on so we will be nice and cosy.   MIND – Following your lovely yoga session, Liz will gently lead you into your guided mindfulness practice including breathwork and tapping.   PURPOSE – stepping forward into nature, Elaine will take us outside into the woods where we will enjoy refreshments and settle in for a powerful “GROW” session – stepping forward
